Greetings from the Canons House team.
We often get asked what happens in the house?
Here’s an Introduction to our offering & programming.

This Grade II listed Georgian House has been beautifully & sympathetically renovated. Situated within stunning and restorative grounds in Mitcham, the House provides a space for sharing, collaboration & innovation. Read on to learn more about the offering at Canons House & Grounds.
We have Rooms for Hire for meetings, interview & consultation spaces, workshops & activities for 2-25 people, amenities include: screens, in-room refreshments, Owl 360 & Laptop hire.

Join the ‘work near home community’,
We offer hotdesking & fixed desks in our WORKSPACE providing coworking, quiet spaces, acoustic pod & media suite.

We provide full programme of community & business activities throughout the year, examples include; Canons Summer Fair delivered in partnership with the LBM Climate Team, a one-day festival bringing the community together to celebrate local climate action and to provide an outreach opportunity for sustainable practitioners in the area. Canons Art Festival an annual celebration of all things creative within the community with outdoor exhibitions & creative workshops.

The Sharing Space is our interpretation, exhibition & heritage space.
We have regular new exhibitions & activities from local artists, community groups & schools.

The Preloved Studio, run by Sustainable Merton, is a community textile hub where sustainability meets creativity.
Offering drop-in sewing sessions, workshops, and events to help people mend, upcycle, and rethink clothing and home textiles, supporting a more circular future.
The studio also provides residencies for local slow fashion and textile reuse start-ups, fostering innovation in circular design.
