The Preloved Studio is Sustainable Merton’s community textile hub – where creativity meets sustainability. Since launching in May 2023, the Studio has been hosting drop-in sewing sessions, workshops and events that help people learn to mend, upcycle, and rethink their wardrobes & small home soft -furnishings.  – so we actively build a more circular future.

The Preloved Studio also offers residencies at Canons House for local, slow fashion and textile reuse start-up businesses, supporting innovation in circular design. Resident businesses have included local CIC Little A.R.K., RE-RUNN, Barjis London & guest pop-up Make With Mermaid.

The Studio, based at Canons House, Mitcham, is the home of community workshops and weekly drop-in sessions for Merton residents to learn skills to reduce textiles waste and avoid fast fashion. If you're interested in becoming a resident business, contact sustainable merton using the link below or email prelovedstudio@sustainablemerton.org for more information.
