Come along to Merton's Windrush Day Celebration at Canons House!  

Enjoy an afternoon of live music, including a steelpan performance, food, a Windrush exhibition, dominoes and talks from the community.  

The day marks the arrival of HMT Empire Windrush at Tilbury Docks on 22 June 1948, bringing more than 800 passengers from the Caribbean to help rebuild Britain. It also recognises the contributions the Caribbean community have continued to make in the UK.  

Everyone is welcome; bring friends, family, and a picnic blanket to enjoy a day of celebration and good vibes.
