About the event
We’re looking for children and adults to join a unique pop-up chorus of Mitcham talent, to perform together at Canons Summer Art Festival. All ages are welcome: come and sing with your kids (or grandkids!)
Day 1
Saturday 8th July 10am – 4pm: Song in a Day!
Meet new people, sing and write a song together. Refreshments and snacks provided, bring a packed lunch.
Venue: Green Arts Centre, Cricket Green School
Bring a song with you that feels like your heritage. It could be a folk song, pop hit or even a nursery rhyme. It can be in English or in any other language. There’ll be time to share it and for others to learn it. Then, we’ll write a new song together, creating the culture of Mitcham’s future.
