School Visits
We offer school visits free of charge, with a variety of activities for teachers to choose the most suitable for their class or current curriculum focus.

For visits to the Sharing Space enter by the side entrance (opposite the café) it’s completely accessible and has it’s own buzzer.
We do recommend groups of ideally 25 max at a time in the Sharing Space. If year groups or larger classes come together, in the past we have one/two groups visit aspects in the grounds while the other is inside.

Self Guided ideas for Outside:
-
Wayfinding & Interpretation at all heritage points in the grounds including: Medieval Dovecot & Pond, Obelisk, Heritage Track, Walled Garden & Community Garden.
-
While moving through the site sketching is a great idea, observational drawing, or plant/flower/bug identification.
