ACCESSIBILITY

We are committed to being open and accessible for everyone. As there are some requirements we must adhere to around the original structures of this heritage site we have endeavoured to make your visit as seamless as possible.

 

For step-free access please come to the side entrance opposite the community cafe where there is a ramp. You will find a doorbell to the left of the door. Upon notifying us of your arrival, you will be guided to the lift by a staff member. Our lift is only suitable for those wishing for step-free access and wheelchair users. We regret that mobility scooters cannot be accommodated.

Local CIC Unique Talent are the team behind Ja'Tasty - the first operators of the new café at Canons! 

Furniture build project using recycled materials with Solowood CIC

Furniture Build Project 

The furniture (counter, tables, benches) has been made out of recycled wood. Local CIC Solowood Recycling led on the project and worked with local young people on the build. 

Opening of Community Cafe

Open for Business!

The new café was officially opened on Saturday 23rd June by The Mayor of Merton, Councillor Joan Henry.
